Another Facebook bug report, I have noticed that I am frequently getting close friend notifications on Facebook from people who are not in my ‘Close Friends’ list– I don’t have anyone in my list so it does get annoying when I get alerts on my iPhone that someone has just uploaded a picture or updated a random status.
Right now, I have about four people I constantly get the notifications for, I communicate with two of them on Facebook quite often; so is Facebook assuming they are my close friends without my consent?
If it is happening on your Facebook, you will noticed the ‘Close Friend’ logo on the notifications is the same as the logo on the list.
I have not been able to find a solution for it yet, I will contact Facebook and add an update to this post if I resolve it. It is not the worst bug in the world but the updates get irritating at times.
