The tiniest car in the world, the Peel P50 is truly something… small to put its size into perspective, you could probably drive it through passed your front door and drive into an elevator up to the penthouse apartment–it is a three-wheeler and it is legal to drive in the UK- if you can get your hand on one.
The 2011 version has a restricted speed of 45 km/h and has a curb weight of 130 lb according to Wikipedia which also states the speed can be increased on request. The last known price was about $450. The new model however will set you back $16,000, it was brought back from the dead from an £80,000 investment from investors in the popular angel investment show Dragon’s Den.
The car is small, cheap and efficient. Parking will not be an issue but if you were to get run over… you will probably get pancaked- but let’s not think about that.
