Bethesda sold it’s soul to Microsoft, granting the Xbox a 30 day exclusivity deal, now that is over Bethesda, the makers of the hit Skyrim, are free to release the Dawnguard DLC for PS3 and PC, but it could still be a while before you get it and here’s why.
Bethesda has to make Skyrim for PS3 and PC differently than it does for Xbox, so the whole programming and bugging process make take a bit longer on the Playstation console and PC before it is ready for release.
There is still no official release date from Bethesda so don’t hold your breath, it could still be a while, on the bright side, it will probably have less bugs than the Xbox version, because they have more time to work on it.
In other news, Product Reviews reports that Skyrim 1.7 patch is causing a delay for the Dawnguard release on PS3, because it hasn’t arrived on the PS3 platform yet.
Hey Bethesda, a PS3 beta version would be nice– better than nothing. This could be a long wait.
