As the popularity of Dropbox and cloud storage ensues, every company wants a splash of the wave and now you have tens of options to store your files on a cloud. Whether is it Dropbox, Google Drive, Sugar Sync or Cubby, they all offer free storage- some more than othersĀ and some services offer more functions than the competition.
So which do you choose? Do you open an account of each or stick to one service?

I have tried almost all of the cloud storage clients and for general use Dropbox is the most user friendly and simple to use. Google Drive is going to be a good way to store your Google files. Sky Drive is good for your Microsoft related files such as windows emails backup and windows documents.
The type of phone you have is also important in which cloud storage device you should go for, as you can see in the chart above very few services have a Blackberry and Windows client, so if you have a blackberry or a windows phone, you should go for a cloud storage that supports your phone so you can backup your files such as numbers and pictures.
